Software is a craft. we treat it that way.
WebBuilds is a Dutch software team that has been designing and building resilient web applications and SaaS products since 2013. No fast "cheap" solutions — code you’ll still be happy with in 10 years.

Dennis Smink
Founder · Lead engineer
Working with
Laravel · PHP
Tailwind · Alpine
MySQL · Redis
One engineer who would rather do it right than do it fast.
Dennis started building web applications back in 2013 — first as a freelancer, later under the WebBuilds B.V. flag. Today he combines that experience with running his own SaaS products such as ploi.io and ploi.cloud.
That dual role — builder and operator — shapes how WebBuilds works. We know what it’s like to keep systems running at 3 AM, so we design them upfront so that we don’t have to.
Four principles, no jargon.
Software that lasts
We build as if we have to maintain it ourselves — because we often do. No "quick" hacks that cost ten times as much a year later.
Think with you, not for you
A good application starts with the right questions. We’re a sparring partner — not just a set of hands typing code.
Transparent on how & what
You know what’s happening, why and when. Short communication lines, predictable planning, honest estimates.
Ownership, also after launch
Hosting, updates, monitoring — we share the responsibility for uptime. A launch is a beginning, not an end.
From the first line of code to today.

Boring choices, sharp results.
We choose tools that have proven themselves — not what is trending. Stability and predictability come before novelty.
